Support

Published by Administrator

As a Local Infrastructure Organisation the Community Care Association is able to provide support and advice to local Voluntary and Community groups.

We are actively involved in Local Strategic issues via the Hambleton District “Area” and “Theme” forums helping to provide a voice for the Voluntary Sector into Local Authority planning.

As one of the Hambleton Local Development Agencies, we work closely with other key volunteer organisations and are involved in the Hambleton Forum for Voluntary Organisations meetings.

Volunteer Centre

The Volunteer Centre is a key part of our organisation helping to provide volunteers to many local community groups.

Office Services

Our first floor offices can provide a number of services:

  • Meeting rooms
  • Photocopying
  • Laminating

Information

As well as providing several services ourselves, we are able to signpost to other local services and providers. We can also provide basic advice on:

  • Funding
  • Setting up a constitution for your organisation
  • Advice for Trustees
  • Local training opportunities
  • As well as more general advice for voluntary organisations, and ongoing local initiatives such as ‘Funding Fayres’

When more detailed information is required, we will try pass you onto someone with more specialist knowledge, including access to accountancy expertise.
